I want to see but there is something in (front of) my eyes
2019

HD video, color, sound, 14′ 11″, loop

The artist intervenes in a construction site, 7 meters below ground level, prolonging the civil foundation grid "lines", previously there, alternately using charcoal and spray paint, giving continuity to the actions of others. Meanwhile, several other actions are perpetuated, in an aparent arbitrary way.

The three works — I want to see but there is something in (front of) my eyes, Untitled (follow me back), and Untitled — are presented as a single installation, arranged across three screens that cluster together and interact within a shared space, where viewers choose what they see and, inevitably, what they do not. All three videos are shown on a continuous loop in a room illuminated solely by the light of the screens, while the space is filled with the sound from I want to see but there is something in (front of) my eyes.
